Filling in the window area to turn a panel van back into a windowless panel van seems like a simple enough thing to do.  However is easy to distort this whole area when welding the new panel in, resulting in a mess that cannot be corrected without more major work or a bucket load of bog.

There are also usually some internal support structures that need to be fabricated as well to complete the job nicely.

The white HK Holden panel van in the pictures is the end result after going to the paint shop. It is the repainted blue one which the work was done on.
