Valiant HEMI straight six cylinder engine 245 and 265 cubic inch, alloy rocker covers and side plates by AussieSpeed. The Hemi straight 6 first came out in the VF Valiant Coupes and Chrysler ran them in the later Valiant Ranger, Valiant Regal, Valiant 2 door Charger and RT Charger coupes up until the mid to late 1970s. The most sought after Hemi 265 was the E38 engine which was made famous by it's incredible power and reliabalitiy in the Hardie Ferado 1000 endurance race at Bathurst in the early 1970s. A heavy duty low compression version of the Hemi 265 was installed in many Australian model Dodge trucks. Dodge AT4 light trucks and the heavier D4 400 and 500 trucks had these Chrysler heavy duty Hemi 245 cubic inch engines in the six cylinder models with a single throat stromberg carbie.
